A man was seriously injured in a collision between two vehicles

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KAIT) – A Paragould man was seriously injured in a Friday morning accident.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at 6:50 a.m. Nov. 1 on Highway 164, nine miles west of Steele in Dunklin County.

According to the accident report, Branden S. Vaughn, 36, was traveling eastbound when his 2010 Ford F-150 drove into the path of an oncoming 2001 Ford Shuttle Bus driven by Larry L. Jarrett, 52, of Campbell .

After the collision, Vaughn’s pickup truck left the left side of the road and struck an embankment.

An ambulance took him to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center with serious injuries.

According to the MSHP report, Jarrett was unharmed.
