Austin police are looking for suspects in an armed robbery at a lottery store.

AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) – The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in an October 16 armed robbery.

According to a police report, the suspects entered the Lucky Lounge located at 11530 Menchaca Road around 3:04 a.m. An internet search of the address shows the company’s name is Lucky Fortune Sweepstakes.

Police reports indicate that one of the suspects was armed with a semi-automatic pistol. The armed suspect inside pointed a gun at the woman’s face and stole her purse. Police said the same man then robbed the cashier at gunpoint.

The second suspect allegedly acted as a lookout during the armed robbery.

The armed suspect was described by police as a thin, black man in his 20s, last seen wearing the following items: black pants, black shoes and a black hoodie.

The suspect standing at the door was described as a muscular man wearing tight jeans, black boots and a gray hoodie.

The Austin Police Department urges anyone with information to call the Robbery Unit at (512)974-5092 or submit an anonymous tip to the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or by calling (512)472-8477.

People who provide information may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
