He confirmed the sad news family following his death on Friday evening at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

According to the Nation, his wife Rosemary Aringo reported that the retired politician died of cardiac arrest during treatment.

Ali Usong’s current MP, Samuel Atandi, shared the heartbreaking news in a statement issued on Friday, November 1.

“I convey the sad news of the sudden death of Hon Oloo Aringo, former Cabinet Minister and MP Ali Usonga. Hon Aringo passed away this evening at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi,” Atandi stated.
