J&K: Grenade explosion at ‘Sunday market’ in Srinagar injures 10 people; the search for the attackers continues

At least 10 people were injured after terrorists threw a grenade at a flea market near the Tourist Reception Center in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday (November 3), India Today reports.

The explosion occurred in a crowd of shoppers gathered at the weekly “Sunday market”. Security services and medical teams immediately arrived on site and provided assistance to the injured, who were then transported to a nearby hospital. A search operation is currently underway to locate the attackers.

As reported by news agency PTI, the incident followed the elimination of a senior Pakistani commander of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) group by security forces in the Khanyar area of ​​Srinagar just a day earlier.
