A woman died after a crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Uptown

One woman is dead and three others injured after a crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Uptown on Sunday, Chicago police said.

Officers responded to a gray sedan with four passengers that struck a pole in the 4400 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive around 1:45 a.m.

According to Chicago police, a 32-year-old woman who was in the passenger seat suffered a head injury and was transported to Weiss Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver and two female passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Traffic incidents are under investigation and the Chicago Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating.
