Nikki Haley Appeals to the Masses in Pro-Trump Opinion: ‘A Better Choice’

Nikki Haley, a Republican who ran against former President Trump a few months ago, wrote a supportive article about the presidential candidate on Sunday, two days earlier. Election day.

Previous South Carolina the governor wrote a recently published opinion piece titled “Trump Isn’t Perfect, But He’s a Better Choice.” The text was published on Sunday in the Wall Street Journal.

Haley challenged Trump in the 2024 Republican primary before dropping out in early March. In the article, she argued that “millions” of Americans with mixed views about Trump should vote for him.

“I disagree with Mr. Trump 100% of the time,” Haley admitted. “But most of the time I agree with him and I almost always disagree with Ms. Harris. That makes it an easy decision.”

Haley was the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during the Trump administration from 2017 to 2018. She is known for openly praising and criticizing the Trump campaign and arguing that the “Biden-Harris agenda” has made the world “much more dangerous.” “

“Our southern border is our most pressing security threat; Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris have made it dramatically worse,” the Republican wrote. “Their defeat in Afghanistan not only created a new terrorist state, but also signaled a weakness that sparked Russia’s war against Ukraine.”

“Their appeasement of Iran has enriched this despotic regime and emboldened it to continue its war on Israel through its terrorist proxies,” Haley added.

The former ambassador predicted that Trump’s second presidency “will not be perfect” but will include tax cuts, increased support for American energy and a better position on the international stage.

“These are huge policy differences that will impact the lives of every American and much of the world,” Haley wrote. “Will Mr. Trump do some things in his second term that I don’t like? I’m sure he will. If this were a question before voters, I imagine Mr. Trump would lose.”

“But that’s not what any election is about,” she added. “No politician does everything right. For those of us who are clear-eyed enough to see Mr. Trump’s flaws and honest enough to admit them, the question is whether we would be better off pursuing his policies or those of his opponent.”

“On taxes, spending, inflation, immigration, energy and national security, the candidates are miles apart. And Mr. Trump is clearly the better choice.”

The article came out days after TV personality Mark Cuban made controversial comments about Trump not having “strong women” around him and specifically referred to Haley.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Never,” Cuban said during a speech on “The View” on Thursday. “It’s just that simple. They are intimidating to him.”

“He doesn’t like being challenged and, you know, Nikki Haley will call him out on his bullshit about reproductive rights and how he views, treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her with him. It wouldn’t work,” the businessman added.

Last week on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Haley reiterated her support for Trump host Bret Baier.

“It’s like I said at the Republican National Convention. You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him,” Haley said. “For me we have a choice anyway. The choice is given. Or Donald Trump or it’s Kamala Harris. As for my family, what I notice is that my daughter says she can’t afford groceries. I look at the economy, which has been difficult for all of us.”
