A man allegedly beat up a stranger for wearing a pro-Trump hat in a supermarket

AND Bath, New York According to police, a man was arrested on Friday after allegedly beating up a stranger in a supermarket who was wearing a Trump 2024 hat.

The Bath Police Department said 60-year-old Robert Yott has been charged with the crime second degree attack and a fourth-degree felony, a misdemeanor.

Police said officers were dispatched to Tops Friendly Markets on West Morris Street around 10 a.m. Friday after receiving a report of a fight.

Upon arrival, investigators learned that Yott had allegedly met with a stranger who was wearing a Trump 2024 hat.

The investigation also revealed that Yott allegedly acted aggressively towards the stranger and struck the victim several times in the mouth and head.

As a result, the victim’s teeth broke and the victim’s mouth became covered with blood, the police said repeating that the two did not know each other.

Yott was arrested and taken to the Steuben County Jail, where he is currently awaiting arraignment.

Last week, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Nick Bosa showed off his “Make America Great Again” hat during a live postgame interview.

Bosa weighed in on 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy’s postgame interview following the team’s victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Bosa then pointed to his hat.

“I won’t talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important moment,” he said after the match.

Meanwhile, Robert Rivas, who is the 71st speaker of the California State Assembly, has called for the sale of Bosa.

“I hope (49ers general manager) @JedYork trades Nick Bosa to Mar-A-Lago. As a long time @49ers fan I can say I’ve seen enough of Bosa in California,” Rivas wrote on X. The post has already been published REMOVED.

In September, the Arizona Cardinals issued an apology to a woman who was told she had to remove a “Make America Great Again” hat to enter the team’s stadium.

Multiple reports indicate that Arizona native and Cardinals season ticket holder Susan Rosener and her husband were already heading to their seats when a stadium employee mistakenly told her to take off her hat.

Rosener was reportedly told she could not wear political hats or shirts.

The incident was initially publicized in a post on X by Turning Point Action Field Vice President Alyssa Goncales, who also posted alleged screenshots of text messages with other alleged participants who were either also forced to remove their MAGA hats or witnessed being forced to do so others.

Although the Cardinals have a list of items prohibited from entering State Farm Stadium on game days, “political hats and shirts” they are not on this list.

Ultimately, the band apologized for the incident.
