Three arrested for murder – The Tribune

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old youth in Khuda Jassu. On November 1, Rishab from Nayagaon was attacked with a knife by a group of assailants. Convicted of murder, he was recently released from prison and faced threats on his life. The murder was the result of gang rivalry.

The police registered a case at Sarangpur police station. During the investigation, Anna (26) of Jhampur in Mohali is suspected; Pankaj (25) from Sector 25 and Nakul alias Mithus (20), a resident of Sector 38 (West), were arrested.

Rishab was involved in a murder case lodged at Nayagaon police station a few years ago. Sources said the victim’s associates had a grudge against Rishab.
