An Oakland County woman died after running a stop sign and hitting another vehicle

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – A 34-year-old Oakland County woman died Wednesday evening after a two-car crash at the intersection of Holly Road and Dixie Highway. According to WDIV-Detroit, At around 9:30 p.m., the police were dispatched to the site after receiving a report of an accident.

Police say Renee Vilders, of Groveland Township, was driving east on Holly Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a truck traveling north on Dixie Highway. Both vehicles left the road and entered the trees. The vehicle in which Vilders was riding rolled on its side.
