A teenager kills his sister over a minor argument

DIJKOT:

On Thursday in Faisalabad, a man shot his sister and unidentified assailants killed a rickshaw driver.

The police seized the bodies and initiated an investigation to catch the perpetrators.

In the first incident, Sana Sardar, a 15-year-old resident of 202 RB Gati, Izafi Abadi Farooqabad under Millat Police Station, was shot by her 19-year-old brother Ali Hasnain Sardar.

According to reports, the siblings had an argument at home, as a result of which Ali Hasnain shot his sister in the stomach. Sana was taken to Allied Hospital, but after a prolonged fight she died of her injuries.

Millat Town police stated that the attack was due to suspicions about the victim’s character.

Hasnain fled the scene and remains at large. The police secured the body of the deceased in order to perform an autopsy and took steps to locate the accused.

In the second incident, 30-year-old rickshaw driver Yasir Abdul Sattar, a resident of Satyan police station area, left his house in the rickshaw but did not return. His body was later discovered near the Tuwana Bridge with gunshot wounds, and his rickshaw was found nearby.

Satyan police seized the rickshaw and the body of the deceased and initiated an investigation to identify and arrest the unknown assailants.

Authorities are appealing to anyone with information in both cases to come forward as efforts continue to bring the perpetrators to justice.
