Belleville Police is expanding its Collision Report Center with a new online tool – Kingston

The Belleville Police Department’s Collision Reporting Center (CRC) has launched its Start from Home program, which allows drivers involved in minor collisions to report incidents online before visiting the center.

Drivers can enter key details including personal details, information about other parties involved, witnesses and statements from the comfort of home. After submitting information online, users receive a reference number to report to the CRC located at Belleville Police Services (459 Sidney St.).

At the center, drivers complete the entire process by checking documents, taking photos of vehicles and checking statements. This tool aims to improve services and reduce waiting times, especially during periods of increased traffic.

Belleville Police say the initiative is part of their commitment to improve accessibility and efficiency for the public.
