Triple H wastes no time getting involved as WWE fans gather after celebrating the NFL star’s ‘worst pedigree ever’

It appears that Philadelphia Eagles star Quinyon Mitchell is a huge fan of Triple H.

During Sunday’s wild-card win over Green Bay PackersThe rookie cornerback picked the perfect moment for his first time NFL interception.

With less than two minutes remaining, the Packers were trying to make up for a 22-10 deficit, quarterback Jordan Love fired a deep shot into the end zone.

His pass, towards winger Bo Melton, was picked out in the air by Mitchell.

Naturally, the rookie was surrounded by his teammates and then ran off to celebrate in style.

Mitchell tried to punch Triple H‘S WWE finishing move, Pedigree, on fellow Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean.

The move, usually performed in the center of the ring rather than the end zone, involves the wrestler placing the opponent’s head between the legs before hooking his arms and jumping up to drive the opponent’s head into the mat.

Unfortunately for Mitchell, DeJean fell to the ground too early, completely disrupting the schedule for the special celebration.

And when cameras caught the failed attempt, fans were quick to take to social media to suggest that the pair had managed to create one of the worst Pedigrees ever seen.

“Terrible sales job,” one person on X joked.

“LOL…this might be the worst Pedigree ever,” said another.

“It wasn’t a pedigree. Even close. Terrible,” concluded a third.

A fourth said: “That was the ugliest pedigree I have ever seen in person.”

Even Triple H himself quickly joined in the conversation, making fun of Mitchell’s effort.

“There’s a reason we say, ‘Don’t try this at home’… congratulations to Quinyon and the Eagles on their victory,” he wrote, referring to WWE’s warning.

While Triple H is now known as the master of this move, even he has gotten it wrong on occasion.

In fact, one fan noted that Mitchell’s effort reminded them of the Pedigree that the WWE legend tried – and failed – to hit Kurt Angle On SummerSlam in 2000.

As he jumped to slam Angle’s head into the announce table, the desk gave way and the pair fell to the ground.

Angle admitted he suffered a concussion after the ordeal.

“The story of the match was that Triple H had to eliminate me at the beginning… I wasn’t supposed to get knocked out for real,” he revealed in 2021.

“It was supposed to be a job. Unfortunately, the table quickly broke down and Triple H held my back to finish the Pedigree.

“He didn’t have time to let go of my arms so I could protect myself. The table collapsed and I was knocked out.”
