Like WeinsteinGaiman faces allegations not only of assaulting women, but also of using NDAs and financial settlements to silence alleged victims.
Similarly, as seen with figures such as Bill Cosby, Danny Masterson and others recently held accountable for rape and assault, unrelated women’s accounts of Gaiman suggest a recurring pattern of behavior: Deadline reported on Monday.
Rowling’s post on X appears after publication: New York Magazine reveal detailed accounts of multiple women accusing Gaiman of molestation, some of which involved acts carried out without his consent while he was in New York and New Zealand.

The exposé presents the accounts of Scarlett Pavlovich, a woman who met Gaiman when she was a 22-year-old theater student.
Pawłowicz first accidentally met 44-year-old Amanda Palmer in Auckland and was delighted with her charisma and unconventional lifestyle.
Over time, Pavlovich developed a close but complex relationship with Palmer, the magazine says, helping her with tasks and feeling drawn to the community even as she struggled financially and emotionally.

In November 2020, Pavlovich experienced an overwhelming sense of belonging in the Palmer house, which filled a void in her life.
Palmer later introduced Pawlowicz to her estranged husband, Gaiman. On February 4, Pawłowicz visited Gaiman, who was then 61, at his home on Waiheke Island to take advantage of a babysitting job arranged by Palmer.
After dinner and an awkward conversation, Gaiman suggested Pawłowicz take a bath in a clawfoot garden tub to pass the time, to which she reluctantly agreed, according to the website.

While she was bathing, Gaiman unexpectedly joined her naked, lit candles and chatted, then encouraged her to relax and “don’t ruin the moment” by stroking her feet despite her visible discomfort.
According to the magazine, Pawłowicz described the experience as marked by a growing sense of “subtle terror.”
Pawłowicz then alleged that Gaiman subjected her to consensual sexual acts, ignored her protests and made disturbing comments during traumatic encounter.

After the alleged incident with the author, Pawłowicz sought solace in Palmer’s empty home, spending hours processing her suffering and searching the Internet for “#Me too” coverage covered Gaiman but found only minor controversy.
Gaiman’s groundbreaking DC comic book series Sandman has since raised eyebrows.
Moreover, the allegations show disturbing similarities with the series story of Richard Madok, a writer using his muse.

Gaiman has denied the allegations, calling the previous claims consensual, although they are ongoing NDA and communications with accusers reportedly complicated the situation.
Despite withdrawing from show projects such as Good omenAccording to reports, Gaiman continued his cooperation with Netflix and Amazon, which have not yet commented on the new allegations.
