In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Urvashi Rautela shared that the makers Ghuspaithiya he approached her worriedly, explaining that the film was lacking in several areas and that they desperately needed to generate buzz. She revealed, “Unko kuch debt aa gaya tha, aur kuch udhari wagairah mein (They had some debt and got caught in loans and the like). They had to leave their land and everything. Woh sadak pe aane wale the (They were on the verge of going out on the street). So they came and discussed it with my business manager, director and all the rest.”

Urvashi Rautela continued, “And then they got our permission for ki woh movie ka scene tha, kuch aisa special nahin kiya tha humne. Woh, movie ka, hello, scene. Toh un makers ka yeh ek demand thi ki kya hum isko pehle leak kar sakte hain. It was a kind of awareness that also ki ladkiyon ko had to be careful (It was a scene from the movie; it wasn’t something special that we did. It was part of the movie itself. The makers asked if they could release it earlier. It was also to raise awareness , especially among girls, to be careful).”
