Man murdered by hacker over illicit affair in Tamil Nadu

Krishnagiri: Two assailants on Tuesday murdered a 32-year-old man over an affair in Hosur near Krishnagiri. The victim, V Sivakumar, a resident of Theppakulam Street in Hosur, was the driver.
Though locals alleged that two unidentified persons attacked Sivakumar with sickles when he was leaving his house after dinner on Tuesday night, police suspect that the victim’s brother-in-law, S Naveen, 30, may have murdered him along with another accomplice.
“Seeing the two assailants coming towards him with sickles, Sivakumar tried to escape but they managed to hit him on his chest and neck,” said Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Akshay Anil Wakhare. Despite being rushed to a private hospital by family members and bystanders, Sivakumar was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said preliminary investigation revealed that Sivakumar was involved in an illicit relationship with Naveen’s wife. Despite several warnings from Naveen, Sivakumar continued the affair.
ASP reported that Naveen went missing on Tuesday evening and his mobile phone was switched off. “We are looking for him and his accomplice. Two special teams have been formed to capture them, he said.
The case has been registered.
