The former Cleveland Browns star has a serious problem with Jameis Winston

The Cleveland Browns enter Week 9 still riding high after beating the team 29-24 Baltimore Ravens last week. For the first time in weeks, there was excitement and positivity around the team.

Jameis Winston was the most ready for all the positive energy surrounding the Browns.

After taking over for the injured Deshaun Watson last week, Winston completed 27 of his 41 passes for 334 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. It was a monster game that left fans speculating that he might become the team’s quarterback going forward, even after this season ends.

Despite his stellar performance, one of Cleveland’s former stars revealed his issue with Winston.

Josh Cribbs didn’t hold back from pouring water on Winston’s fire. During the veteran quarterback’s debut game against the Ravens, he noticed some things to pay close attention to.

“There were so many opportunities – I’m not a pessimist – that this game certainly could have gone in the opposite direction very quickly. The Ravens gave up several picks during this game.

He’s 100 percent right. Winston was just a few passes away and the game looked completely different.

However, this does not detract from the performance he achieved. Rather, it tempers fans’ expectations about what to think about the future. Winston can still produce good performance after good performance.

However, it is important to be honest about things even in the midst of excitement.

Cribbs doesn’t say he thinks Winston’s performance was a coincidence. He simply notes that there were many different opportunities that Baltimore didn’t take advantage of that could have made the game go very differently.
