New details of the case

Twin Lakes police spoke with the 13-year-old boy and his parents on Oct. 10 – the day Crocker was formally charged. According to the amended complaint, the victim stated to a school employee that Crocker had sent him inappropriate messages, including multiple videos of him performing a sex act.

The victim stated that when it opened, she initially thought it was an “exercise video,” but according to the complaint, she did not respond, claiming she was “too young for it.” The victim also said she became scared because she heard Crocker “raped” another minor.

According to prosecutors, a search of Crocker’s cell phone uncovered several videos that appeared similar to those described by the victim. It also emerged that Crocker had added the victim on Snapchat in September and within days they had exchanged over 200 messages, photos and videos.

According to the case files, a search of Crocker’s Snapchat data also found a conversation between her and a 16-year-old boy that she added to the platform on October 9 – the day before her arrest.

The messages showed she asked the victim if he wanted to have sex with her. She tried to plan for the boy to come to her house for sex on October 11; she would ultimately be in custody that day. The victim told investigators that they had talked about having sex but “it never went through.” He also said she sent him photos “in which gender was ‘inferred’.”

Details of the previous case

According to the sheriff’s department, the alleged crimes involved a current and former student at the school.

Prosecutors say the alleged sexual assault occurred last winter. The 13-year-old victim said he was at Crocker’s house for a sleepover and was sleeping in the basement when Crocker woke him up, took off his pants and sexually assaulted him. He said Crocker tried to hide, but other children “saw what happened.”
