Boeing warns against 400 dismissals after delaying NASA Artemis

On Saturday, Boeing warned employees involved in the Rocket System Rocket System program, which expected to slow down about 400 people.

The message appears among the delays and the growing costs of the Artemis NASA program, which was established during the first term of President Trump, and aims to send the astronauts back to the moon.

His budget is expected to be around $ 93 billion by the end of the year.

This also happens when the new Trump administration began to release government workers from some institutions, although it is not clear whether the Department of the Government (Doge) run by Elon Musk Efficiency (Doge).

Spacex Musk is the main carrier of NASA astronauts at an international space station, and the company has several serious contracts with the government.

The USA recently sent astronauts to the moon during the last Apollo mission, Apollo 17, in 1972.

“To adapt to changes in the Artemis program and cost expectations, we informed our team of space starting systems about the potential for about 400 smaller items until April 2025,”, Boeing said Fox Business in a statement.

Boeing said that employees affected by involuntary dismissals will receive 60-day notifications in the coming weeks, “in accordance with the Act on the adaptation and retraining of employees.”

The company added that it is trying to minimize the loss of jobs by moving employees throughout the company to minimize the loss of jobs and “keep our talented team members”.

After NASA successfully launched Artemis and in 2022, the Artemis II mission was delayed from 2024 to September.

Astronauts plan to circulate the moon in the Artemis II mission, and they will walk on the Moon on Artemis III. This mission was also delayed from 2025 to September 2026.

Artemis was an unrestricted mission that circulated about the moon.
